Teacher, writer, musician, and storyteller — helping people find meaning, build community, and live with purpose.
Rabbi Yoshi Zweiback serves as the Senior Rabbi of Stephen Wise Temple in Los Angeles — one of the largest and most vibrant Reform congregations in the world. He is a teacher, a writer, a musician, and above all, a storyteller.
Through his sermons, his podcast Search for Meaning, and his music with Mah Tovu, Rabbi Yoshi invites people into a Judaism that is alive, honest, and deeply human. He believes that the most sacred work we do is showing up for one another — in joy and in grief, in certainty and in doubt.

KAVOD is a non-profit tzedakah collective founded by Rabbi Yoshi — a community of donors who pool their resources to create greater impact than any of us could alone. The name means "dignity" and "honor," and that's exactly what the work is about: helping people in the United States, Israel, and around the world live with both.
KAVOD maintains personal relationships with every organization and individual it supports. Donors are typically no more than two degrees of separation from the board — it's tzedakah the way it was always meant to be: human, direct, and accountable.
Learn More & Give →Rabbi Yoshi and Rabbi Ken Chasen make original contemporary Jewish music sung in synagogues, schools, and camps across the country. Four albums. Two books. One band.
